ICT Independent Consulting was formed in 2006 as an ICT service to both schools and businesses in the Midlands region.
With our considerable experience with Windows networks and supporting schools, we will identify and fill your identified needs for ICT in education.
Our Team
Jake Tilson - BSc, Director
Jake started working in IT as a network manager for 5 years in a large secondary school running an RM Community Connect 3 network, then in 2010 he joined ICTIC as a company director. Over the years Jake has carried out several Windows Server installations, network upgrades and regularly provides training to our customers. He also specialises in cloud technology and has project managed several schools onto Office 365 and Google Workspace as well as iPad management.
Izzy Tilson - Accounts manager
Izzy is a community pharmacist by trade. With a breadth of customer facing and management experience she joined us as accounts manager working alongside Jake and the team, to ensure ICTIC customers receive the highest level of service and support.
Alfie Pick - Senior ICT Technician
Alfie is a Senior ICT Technician of 5 years commercial sector experience joining the company in December 2021. His breadth of skills comes from 1st and 2nd line support of businesses with greatly varying needs, from basic software and hardware support to cabling and network administration. One of his strengths include a deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 systems and services.
In his spare time he enjoys live music and camping in the summer season.
Jack Persse - Senior ICT Technician
Jack spent over 10 years working at a secondary school, as an ICT technician, also managing the MAT’s websites, social media and multimedia requirements. Joining ICTIC in 2022, Jack is a great asset to the company, with his years of working in the education sector and experience with a wide range of technology. In his spare time you will find Jack attending gigs and travelling around in his campervan.
Sharif Ismail - Senior ICT Technician
With over 5 years of experience supporting two schools within a multi academey trust, Sharif comes to us with a great knowledge of IT in the educational sector and strives to bring excellent customer support to our schools. When he’s not busy supporting our customers Sharif has his hands full with his children and tries to squeeze in a Liverpool game when he can.
Mitchell Colcombe - Senior ICT Technician
Before joining us, Mitch initially started his career in teaching, before deciding he wanted to work in IT and he has joined us after 5 years working as an ICT Technician at a local secondary school. With the mixture of teaching and IT experience, Mitch is a great asset to the company and our customers.
